Herschel Orchestra ‘fêted’ once again

Datchet Fête wouldn’t be Datchet Fête without an appearance by the Herschel Grammar School Orchestra!  

At 1pm on Saturday 4th July, 2026, the orchestra made its 20th annual appearance at the fête.  

The personnel may have changed (those who appeared in 2002 are between 35 and 40 years old now!), but the spirit and vitality of its members hasn’t altered and the audience’s enthusiastic reception remains a constant.

The organisers of the fête expressed the hope that we would continue with our annual visits for a great many years to come.
