Paul Rowley

My background is in industry and I started by doing an apprenticeship in product design at EMI Records. I became a production manager in metal packaging and also a factory manager/director in paper packaging. I joined the NHS in 1991 and worked as a Non Clinical Director of Operational Services for a local NHS Hospital Trust. From there I became managing director of Berkshire, Hampshire and Derbyshire Shared Services in the NHS. I was also a consultant in transformation in NHS Primary Care.

I am Chair of Beechwood Local Government Board and Vice-Chair of the Schelwood Trust. I was also the lead governor for finance at Slough & Eton School for ten years. My strengths are in finance, budgeting, HR and personnel, premises and capital projects, strategic planning, change management, community engagement, school improvement planning, school inspections and dealing with OFSTED.

In my free time I have been Chair of the First Datchet Sea Scouts. I am a Trustee of the ME Society and a local Parish Councillor.
